Got a free inspection and quote from them on a busted transmission of mine. They were honest with advice and gave a very competitively priced quote for the repair. I ended up buying a new car instead, but was very impressed by my experience with them.

This place did a good job fixing my mustang. My transmission was going out they rebuilt it within 2 weeks owned up to their 1 year 100k mile warranty. Very quick and responsive. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you guys!

I called to schedule an appointment to check on the transmission of my car and potentially do a drain and fill. I spoke with two different people who confirmed my appointment was booked earlier this week. One person said it was necessary to drop off my car the night before so they can start working on it immediately in the morning. The following day, I did not hear anything so I called around 2 o clock to check on the progress. When I called, the lady sounded very nonchalant and said she had no idea whose car was parked in front of the main door. I felt the lack of customer service and incompetence would be enough for me not to return and to make this post so other customers are aware of this poor experience. Zero stars. Nuff said.

Columbus Equipment Company recently partnered with Central Ohio Transmissions, LLC for a transmission rebuild, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Their team rebuilt our transmission efficiently and at a very fair cost, without compromising quality. Communication throughout the entire process was exceptional — clear, timely, and professional. We always knew exactly where things stood. Sam, in particular, was a pleasure to work with. She was professional, responsive, and demonstrated remarkable follow-through. From initial diagnosis to final pickup, nothing was overlooked and the ball was never dropped. That level of accountability and customer service is rare. I would highly recommend Central Ohio Transmissions, LLC to any business or individual in need of transmission work. We will absolutely use them again for any and all of our future transmission needs. Jason Kimble Corporate Fleet Manager Columbus Equipment Company

Amazingly honest mechanics! I cannot recommend them strongly enough. Had my '07 Odyssey's transmission rebuilt by them ~3 years/36k miles ago. Real easy to work with, good prices, excellent work. Took it back last week because I thought there might be another problem. Instead of trying to trick me into unnecessary repairs, they assured me my transmission was fine and gave me info on what was actually wrong and how to fix it. Transmission is running steady and they were spot-on with what was wrong. Oh, and the diagnostic is free! They really go above and beyond on their customer service. Highly recommended!
